Selection Process

As mentioned in the previous year's RRB JE Notification, the selection of the candidates will be done through 4 different phases. The candidates have to qualify in each stage to get shortlisted for Railway JE Recruitment.

Stage 1- 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-I)

Stage 2- 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-2)

Stage 3- Document Verification

Stage 4- Medical Examination

Exam Pattern

The exam pattern for RRB JE for CBT 1 and CBT 2 Exam as declared by the Railway Recruitment Board is as follows-

  1. There shall be a negative marking of ⅓ marks for incorrect answers in CBTs.
  2. The duration of the CBT 1 Exam is 90 minutes and for CBT 2 Exam is 120 minutes.
  3. In CBT 1, there will be 100 questions and in CBT 2 there will be 150 questions.
  4. The types of questions in Computer Based Test will be Objective type (Multiple Choice Questions).
