Selection Process
As mentioned in the previous year's RRB JE Notification, the selection of the candidates will be done through 4 different phases. The candidates have to qualify in each stage to get shortlisted for Railway JE Recruitment.
Stage 1- 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-I)
Stage 2- 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-2)
Stage 3- Document Verification
Stage 4- Medical Examination
Exam Pattern
The exam pattern for RRB JE for CBT 1 and CBT 2 Exam as declared by the Railway Recruitment Board is as follows-
- There shall be a negative marking of ⅓ marks for incorrect answers in CBTs.
- The duration of the CBT 1 Exam is 90 minutes and for CBT 2 Exam is 120 minutes.
- In CBT 1, there will be 100 questions and in CBT 2 there will be 150 questions.
- The types of questions in Computer Based Test will be Objective type (Multiple Choice Questions).
